Do you have a French or Spanish document that you need translating into English? I can translate a wide range of documents including marriage certificates, death certificates, correspondence, and contracts. You can send me your document by e-mail, and I will confirm whether I can translate it and how much it will cost.
Perhaps you just want a brief explanation of what your document says so that you can decide whether you need to have it translated or how to respond. I can send you a summary of the content of your document or meet you face-to-face to explain it to you. I can then help you to respond, if required, by letter, phone call or email, and continue to help with subsequent correspondence.
Do you own or are you buying property in a French or Spanish-speaking country? I can help you with translating contracts and dealing with agents, lawyers, utility companies and banks.
If you are involved in a court case in a French or Spanish-speaking country, I can help with understanding legal documents and communicating with lawyers.
I have translated some non-fiction books as well as journalistic and academic articles that require excellent writing skills to produce a translation in the appropriate style and tone for publication. I find this area of translation very fulfilling, and as an avid reader of fiction I am keen to branch out into literary translation to bring French and Spanish fiction to English speaking audiences. I am in the process of pitching a sample translation of a French novel to UK publishers.
As a business you might need help translating written French or Spanish documents, contracts, articles or online content into English. If you have marketing or advertising material in French or Spanish, including for travel and tourism, I can translate it for your English-speaking audience so that it does not read like a translation but like original content, in the style that suits your product or service and target market.
Perhaps you need an interpreter for a face-to-face, online or telephone meeting.
As a registered NRPSI interpreter I am qualified to interpret between solicitors and their clients as well as in court and for the police. I have experience interpreting in family matters, for asylum claims and for criminal cases, both face-to-face and online. I can also translate legal documents, correspondence and evidence into English.
I have worked as an interpreter in the health and social care sector throughout my career for health professionals and their patients in areas including mental health, general practice, hospital outpatients and midwifery. I have also interpreted for social services in areas including adoption and child protection.
I have longstanding relationships with translation agencies that know they can trust me to produce high-quality translations on time for their clients, and I am always keen to build new relationships with agencies. End clients that I have produced translations for through agencies include European Union institutions, UK government departments, L’Oréal and Chanel.
